Famous philosopher - Sir Francis Bacon - was not much of an "animal rights" person. In fact, his very last experiment conducted in order to "further the development of science" was to buy and kill a fowl, and to bury it in the snow. Apparently he wanted to see if snow (low temperature) had a meat preserving quality. Francis Bacon died a few days later, most likely NOT from feeling guilty!...

I chose F. Bacon as my cartoon signature not to make a connection with the philosopher, but rather to suggest to everyone to "f... bacon!"
